Rainforest Chalet – Single or Twin Accommodation

One bedroom chalet with an upstairs/downstairs arrangement. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, with a separate living area and balcony downstairs over looking beautiful rainforest.

Hinterland Cottage – Twin or Double Accommodation

A two bedroom cottage with two separate bedrooms, communal bathroom, lounge/living area and balcony. Shared with one other guest, so why not encourage a friend or family member to experience The Biggest Loser Retreat with you! Also suitable for couples. Triple and quad share options available.

Hinterland Lodge – Quad Share Accommodation

Two bedroom lodge with four single beds. Lodges contain a shared bathroom and a spacious lounge/living area and balcony. Shared with three other guests of the same sex giving you the opportunity to create new friendships. Not suitable for couples. Limited availability.

Program Overview

Whether you already exercise three times a week or haven’t ever done a squat, we cater to all levels of fitness and energy levels. Our team of professionals will ensure you are working to a level within your physical capabilities and will challenge and push you to gain the results you need. Our program approach is aimed at increasing your fitness levels and with a goal to achieve weight loss.

Rates & Packages

At The Biggest Loser Retreat our programs are designed as an all inclusive package to ensure guests receive a complete experience, leaving you with the tools and information required to make lasting changes.

You may wish to enhance your stay, with private training sessions, one on one consultations, spa treatments plus much more that can be added at any time during your stay for an additional cost.

Our program package price includes:

• Accommodation
• All meals, snacks and beverages
• Daily fitness and movement sessions
• Information Seminars
• Cooking demonstrations, including hands on sessions
• Full use of all facilities

They say it takes 21 days to change your habits, so ideally we recommend a stay of three weeks. However, our programs do start from 7 days in length and we can accommodate you for much longer stays, depending on your needs and the time you would like to dedicate to achieving a healthier you.

Prices for The Biggest Loser Retreat by Golden Door Australia start from $342.14 per person, per day twin-share and this includes accommodation, all meals, snacks and beverages, daily fitness and movement sessions, information seminars, cooking demonstrations (including hands on sessions) and full use of the Retreat’s facilities. Single share packages and longer stay discounts are also available. The recommended length of stay is three weeks, as this is recognised as the time it takes to change a habit, however The Biggest Loser Retreat offers programs from seven days up until much longer, depending on the guests’ needs and goals.

We understand that finances can be an obstacle to many things. We want to ensure that you have assistance to overcome such obstacles in attending the retreat and we are pleased to offer a finance solution through Mac Credit.

Mac Credit will have an answer for you within hours of your application and can provide you with a variety of personal loan solutions to suit your budget. Subject to approval, you can finance all or part of your stay at The Biggest Loser Retreat.

Payment Plans

We do require full payment for your stay 21 days prior to your arrival; however we welcome the following payment plans subject to an initial deposit payment:

• Regular payments in the lead up to your arrival.
• One off balance payments (on or before the due date)

We accept a variety of payment methods:

• Credit Card payments (please note a 3% surcharge occurs for AMEX and Diners payments)
• Electronic Payments via Direct Deposit

Booking Conditions

Payments

Once you have made the decision to improve your health, we will need a deposit to secure your booking. It is essential that deposits processed through direct deposit are received by us within three (3) days from when the booking is made. If payment is not received within this time, your booking will be automatically cancelled.

Deposit Required: $550

Final Payment Due: 21 days prior to arrival

It is essential that you make final payment by the due date. If payment is not received by the due date, the balance of your payment will be automatically drawn from your credit card or direct debit facility and if funds are not available or refused the bookings will be automatically cancelled and our Cancellation and Refunds policy will apply.

From time to time, we may release special offers that have different payment conditions and may require full payment at the time of booking. Please ensure you check the payment conditions at the time of booking.

Special offers may incur a supplement if used outside of the allotted time and will only be extended at the discretion of The Biggest Loser Retreat and Golden Door Australia.

If you are making a booking within the ‘Final Payment Due’ period of your selected arrival, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payments via American Express or Diners Card will incur a 3% Credit Card Handling Fee. Payments made with any other Credit Cards or Direct Deposits will not incur any handling fee.

Cancellation & Refunds

Although we would love to see you at The Biggest Loser Retreat, we understand that plans can change. Should you need to change your booking, we ask that you notify our Reservations Team at your earliest convenience.

All payments made by you, including deposits, are non-refundable. Changes to your booking will incur an administration or postponement fee.

If you fail to arrive or leave the retreat before the end of your stay period, you will forfeit any remaining part of your booking.

Within 14 Days of Arrival: $550

Outside 14 Days of Arrival: $50

Any funds remaining after deduction of the foregoing fees will be held as a credit on your behalf for you to use at a subsequent time, providing that rebooking is within a period of 12 months from the date of the original booking. Bookings may also be transferred to another person.

If cancellation is within 7 Days of arrival date all payments will be non-refundable and non-transferable.

Guest Health and Safety

We care about the health and safety of our guests. To assist, please advise us at the time of booking if you have any condition that requires medical attention, medication or special treatment.

All guests will be provided with a medical screening to be completed in conjunction with a medical practitioner and returned 7 days prior to arrival at the retreat.

If a guest has a condition that we decide may seriously affect the enjoyment, health or safety of themselves or any other guest, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking, where deemed necessary. We will give reasonable consideration when reaching this decision and will advise you as soon as possible. As long as you have provided us with a completed health screening with all relevant information about the condition, at least 7 days prior to arrival, you will be entitled to a full refund if we cancel your booking on the basis of this condition.

Exclusions

To ensure the health and safety of our guests, children under the age of 16 may not participate in our program. Any guest under the age of 18 must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian whilst at the retreat.
Guests who are pregnant during their program stay are required to complete a ‘fit to participate’ screening in conjunction with their medical practitioner, including your estimated due date, prior to booking.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend you purchase appropriate international travel insurance at the time you pay your deposit. If you do not purchase travel insurance, you may not be able to recover cancellation charges, medical costs, repatriation and other expenses that may arise if things do not go according to plan.
